Schneider Electric introduces Magelis GTO

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced the latest line of Magelis™ graphic panels. The new Magelis GTO terminals are an expansion of the company’s popular Magelis range of advanced HMI panels with additional, newly optimized features, high performance, and an unmatched level of image display quality for use in industrial environments.

State-of-the-art graphic display

The Magelis GTO range includes six sizes of screen display, each offering a 65K color TFT screen to deliver the best quality of data visualization available in the Magelis range to date. LED backlight allows dimming and efficient energy saving. Additionally, this new line offers function keys for both the 3.5” and 7” screens providing more display space versus standard terminals of the same dimensions. Specifically, the 7” widescreen model offers 40 percent more available display area compared to typical 7.5” HMI screens.

Easy integration and adaptability

The new Magelis GTO terminals provide users with remote access to their data display. Up-to-date peripheral links simplify operation and maintenance, while embedded Ethernet enables easy integration with IT architectures. The new range also features rugged stainless steel (IP66K) models designed for harsh environments, such as pharmaceutical and food and beverage. These panels are resistant to high temperatures (up to 55°C), corrosion, high-pressure cleaning, chemicals, and grease. These stainless models are available in 5.7”, 10.4” and 12.1” sizes.

Versatile set-up for a long-term investment

Featuring just four simple fasteners for the entire range, a unique fast connection power plug, and wiring with all connectors easily found in the same place on the panel, these versatile terminals can be mounted in seconds, saving you valuable time and maximizing your investment. The Magelis GTO range shares the same cut-out size, as well as the same configuration software found in popular Magelis XBT GT line, allowing for easy replacement.
