Armstrong Unveils New End Suction Pumps that Eliminate Inertia Base

Provide Significant Cost & Energy Savings

Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced three larger sizes of Design Envelope End Suction Pumps, with Permanent Magnet motors up to 50hp that deliver impressive energy savings and eliminate the need for an inertia base.

“Because the new End Suction Pumps don’t require an inertia base, and Design Envelope technology eliminates the need for differential pressure sensors and flow meters, installation costs can be reduced by up to $5,000 per pump” said Zeljko Terzic, Offering Manager, Pumps. “Also, because of the factory-aligned rigid coupling, there is no need for coupling realignment during the installation process. This reduces installation time and related labor costs.”

The new End Suction Pumps also feature Design Envelope technology, with integrated intelligent controls, that can save up to 65% in energy over comparable traditional constant-speed or variable frequency operated pump installations.
