Our Industry Person of the Week is Todd Loudin, President of North American Operations at Flowrox Inc.
Q: How did you get started working in your field?
Todd: Began working directly out of university for Neles Jamebury.
Q: What do you love the most about your job? What are you most proud of?
Todd: Helping customers around the globe solve process problems in various industries. Growing our business to become the number one brand in the world.
Q: What advice would you give to someone considering this line of work or new to the field?
Todd: If you dedicate your time to learning product and customer’s processes, you can become a valuable asset to a multitude of companies. The time you invest becomes the capital that makes you personally valuable. It is hard work, but the time invested and knowledge attained is invaluable.
Q: Can you talk about a project you recently worked on?
Todd: Being acquired by Neles and then later by Valmet within a one-year time frame has been a continuous project. Through all of this we have achieved record growth in 2022 and have promising projects for 2023.
Q: Anything else you would like to add?
Todd: I had many mentors in my career and I can never pay any of them back to level of what they gave and shared with me. It is very important that we all share what we know with others and mentor them to grow. I have been blessed to work in organizations that promoted this type of work environment. I have tried my best to mentor others throughout my career and hope that I have paid a little forward.
