Environmental Considerations in Energy Production Conference

The Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc. (SME) is sponsoring the second annual Environmental Considerations in Energy Production Conference, September 20-23, 2015 at the Omni William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh, PA. The meeting brings together industry experts from around the world to exchange ideas on energy production, including mining, oil and gas production, electrical power generation and the impacts on the environment and society.

“The mining and minerals industry provides the resources that drive economies and raise the standard of living for people worldwide,” said SME Executive Director David L. Kanagy. “This conference will showcase the latest innovations, collaborations and developments in energy production with a focus on protecting the environment.”
