Happy New Year Everybody!!! We are excited about 2023 and can’t wait to jump into it with courage. It has been a tough season for so many, and we are thankful for the work of our community to build that mental strength to withstand difficult times and persevere with intention. We have seen so much resilience and growth in our customers and partners, and we are proud to continue to make space for courageous conversations. At #EPIC2022, we discussed what Sustainability means for our industry. We allowed for differences of opinions to be shared and we embraced the Knowledge Shared. We can learn so much from a diverse group of leaders if we have a growth mindset and seek to innovate and collaborate for the future. One of my favorite conversations about sustainability led to a discussion around Circularity, a concept that makes so much sense to me! We will continue to bring leaders together to talk about this important topic and dive into other sustainability goals we can impact with the help of our community.

It always inspires me when I am talking with a person who is just learning about our customers and then finds a current event or news story that puts it into perspective for them. It’s that A-ha moment where they see our customers make a difference in their everyday lives. The latest example is a consultant working with us reading about Porsche investing in eFuel technology and Baker Hughes was also listed as an investor. She knew Baker Hughes from working with us, and it made the article more impactful. She was especially excited to learn that the eFuel technology can be used in combustion engines. I am excited about the storytelling 2023 will hold, but to be honest, I am still pretty jazzed about 2022! When it comes to courage, the 2022 Industry Person of the Year, Melody Gonzalez, has led by example and stepped into her purpose and been a great role model for the Latino community as well as so many others.
