Empowering Women in Industry launched their first episode of the Empowering Women Podcast with Mel the Engineer on March 21, 2019. This is a collaboration between Empowering Women in Industry and Mel Butcher aka Mel the Engineer.

Mel is a consulting engineer in the environmental space and is the host. The mission of the podcast is to empower and connect with career women who will inspire the next generation of leaders. The show features women leaders in male dominated fields who have not only overcame various career challenges but have the desire to give back to their community and cultivate a supportive space for women to connect and collaborate. “The Empowering Women Podcast is one way I hope to support women on their journey to success. I am thrilled to aid in making these women leaders visible, and their voices accessible” says Mel. The Empowering Women Podcast is in full swing with four full episodes available and many more to come!
