Sulzer goes virtual at Rio Oil & Gas 2020

Sulzer will be using its new innovative virtual conference venue at Rio Oil & Gas 2020. From December 1 – 3, attendees will be able to explore the company’s first digital conference, learn more about its offering and discuss project requirements with Sulzer experts in a live chat. Visitors will also be invited to explore 360° application environments and view 3D equipment models highlighting the company’s maintenance services and pump design expertise as well as mixing and separation technologies.

During the show, visitors can learn about how Sulzer provides engineering, maintenance, pumping and separation solutions for all types of oil and gas applications including offshore platforms, natural gas plants, refineries and petrochemical plants. Furthermore, visitors will be able to talk to leading experts from Sulzer directly in the virtual conference venue to discuss their requirements.

Entire processing plants as well as a refinery and large equipment that would be impossible to showcase at a normal exhibition can be explored through interactive 3D environments. The company’s offering will be showcased using interactive hotspots that display detailed 3D product models, animations, videos and literature. If visitors are interested in learning more about the solutions and services on display, they will be able to enter a live chat with leading experts, just like at a physical trade show.

This year the digital version of Rio Oil & Gas, the largest event of its kind in Latin America, aims to provide an innovative and interactive experience to visitors. Sulzer’s online virtual conference venue will be a highlight not to be missed.

Separation and mixing technology

Highlights will include Sulzer’s separation and mixing solutions for oil and gas applications. These are shown in 360° virtual process skids, process plants and a column internals showroom. A full 3D refinery will be launched at Rio Oil & Gas show, allowing attendees to learn more about Sulzer’s highly customized, fully tested mass transfer solutions for the industry.

Pump technology

Sulzer is recognized in the industry for its pumping systems, a selection of which will be displayed. These include the company’s HPcp barrel casing pump, designed for water injection, offshore crude oil shipping, and remote pipeline applications. Attendees will be able to find out more about the pump and view a highly detailed 360° model.

Service solutions

With service centers around the world forming an extensive design, manufacturing and engineering network, Sulzer can offer expert maintenance solutions for all types of rotating equipment. Visitors will be able to learn more about the company’s service offering for pumps, turbines, compressors, generators and motors in oil and gas applications in the dedicated industry overview panel. Sulzer specializes in maximizing equipment reliability and productivity by providing comprehensive maintenance, reverse engineering and parts manufacturing support.
