CFturbo GmbH Partners with Simerics, Inc. to Announce CFturbo SMP Software

By: CFturbo

As the design requirements for Turbomachinery becomes more demanding, CFturbo and Simerics have combined Turbomachinery design software with CFD-simulation software into one solution, CFturbo SMP, available today.  This allows users to design Turbomachinery components easily, and to simulate designs using CFD software results to improve turbomachine performance, power and efficiency. CFturbo SMP Software also provides CFD engineers with the ability to start with a design point or with an existing geometry to design and simulate turbomachines such as pumps, blowers, compressors and turbines for their processes and products.

By working together, Simerics, Inc. and CFturbo GmbH have enabled users to significantly reduce the time to get critical CFD results in the market for Turbomachinery design and simulation.

“Our development with CFturbo has enabled engineers to easily model and change impellers, stators and volutes in minutes with associative CFD results,” said Rich Moore, Vice President Strategy, OEMs, Partners, Simerics, Inc.  “With CFturbo SMP we have made the combination of designing Turbomachinery and using CFD a simple and straight forward process at an affordable price.”

“We have added CFturbo software with Simerics MP to allow engineers to take advantage of a much needed, improved workflow for fast, accurate, cost-effective and user-friendly solution for Turbomachinery design and simulation. With CFturbo SMP customers get realistic results that compared accurately with multiple field tests on various types of turbomachines providing users with the confidence to design excellent geometries” said Ralph Peter Mueller, Managing Director of CFturbo GmbH and President of CFturbo, Inc.
