Neptune™ to Debut New Metering Pump at WEFTEC 2016

Neptune, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a leading brand of chemical metering and peristaltic pumps, portable mixers, chemical feed systems and other related equipment, will be exhibiting in Booth 519 at the Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC). WEFTEC is one of the leading events for the global water and wastewater industry, and it will be held from Sept. 24-28 in New Orleans, LA.

At this year’s WEFTEC, Neptune will be showcasing its new Series MP7000 mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump. Designed to be a low-flow version of the Neptune Series MP7100 metering pump, the Series MP7000 incorporates a wide variety of design features that provide reliable and accurate dosing of a wide range of mild to aggressive chemicals, including those used in industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment. Series MP7000 pumps have been engineered from the ground up to be more robust and durable than similar mechanical diaphragm pump designs. The Series MP7000 pump incorporates the ruggedness of a hydraulic diaphragm metering pump, eliminates the need for intermediate fluid or hydraulic oil to actuate the diaphragm and reduces the potential for gearbox oil to contaminate the process. Neptune Series MP7000 pumps feature capacities to 27 gph (102 lph) at operating pressures up to 235 psi (16 bar)

Neptune will also be featuring its PZ Series electronic diaphragm and Series 500 hydraulically actuated metering pumps. PZ Series pumps have numerous designed in features, making them ideal for various product applications at flow rates from .01 to 20 gph. PZ pumps operate on a manual control that produces speed ranging from 15 to 300 strokes per minute with a variety of liquid-end materials are available. In addition, the Series 500 pumps feature EZE-CLEAN valve cartridges that can be removed for cleaning without disturbing the piping to the pump. Series 500 pumps have capabilities to 100 gph (302 lph) simplex and 200 gph (605 lph) duplex. Series 500 pumps are offered with pressure capabilities up to 3,000 psi (210 KG/cm).

Neptune will also showcase its wide variety of direct drive and gear drive portable mixers with electric, pneumatic or variable speed motors. Neptune mixers are available in numerous mounting configurations, including c-clamp, angle riser, flange and cup plate mount. All Neptune mixers have been designed, engineered and built to provide long life and trouble-free service for a wide variety of blending and mixing operations. They are ideal for waste treatment and water treatment materials with viscosities ranging from 1 to more than 25,000 cPs.

In addition, Neptune will also be displaying a wide array of its custom system capabilities at WEFTEC 2016. Not only is Neptune a leading manufacturer of chemical metering pumps and accessories, but it also has the expertise to design and build custom chemical feed systems to exact specifications – proving that no one is better qualified to integrate components into a system than the designer and manufacturer of those components. The system and components are backed by the same manufacturer’s warranty, which ensures that customers receive the confidence of single-source responsibility when you purchase from Neptune. Additionally, Neptune also designs and builds control panels in its UL 508A certified control panel shop.
