Intelliquip unveils industry-first mobile software Instant IQ

For its global clients in the fluid handling equipment industry, Intelliquip is the first to launch mobile software – the Intelliquip Instant IQ – allowing customers to quickly select, configure, price, and quote equipment from virtually anywhere a sale can be made.

Intelliquip’s Instant IQ includes both a mobile smartphone app and ‘Cloud’ software reengineered for use on tablet computers.

With the Instant IQ mobile app, smartphone users of the powerful Intelliquip Selector will now be able to immediately select pumps and share detailed datasheets with their customers.

And on tablet computers, users will be able to tap into the power of Intelliquip’s entire industry-leading Intelligent Front-EndSM – the Intelliquip Selector, Intelliquip Configurator, and Intelliquip Quote Manager – to undertake all the complexities of designing highly engineered equipment packages with literally thousands of rules and options for construction.

“With Intelliquip’s Instant IQ mobile access, field salesmen are freed from the PC back at the office when they select equipment or email datasheets,” said Dave Brockway, President of Intelliquip, LLC. “Sales teams can now be more nimble and productive on the road, providing quicker responses to their customers.  I would have loved to have this capability when I was selling process pumps.”

Front-end sales automation software like Intelliquip’s has been credited with increasing productivity for fluid handling equipment manufacturers, nearly doubling productivity and quote output with existing staff.

Since Intelliquip offers all of its solutions in the Cloud, data is stored safely and securely and is immediately available online.

“In this niche industry, Intelliquip’s founders were some of the first to apply new technology to automate the equipment selection and sales process more than 20 years ago,” said Brockway. “For our partners, these software solutions already offer improved selection quality, faster and more accurate proposal generation, and greater productivity throughout the lead-to-order process.”

Added Brockway: “Now, these sales teams will stay one more step ahead of their competition with this mobile software that will allow them to select, configure and quote products anywhere they have a 3G or WiFi connection.”

To help clients further compete in the global marketplace, Intelliquip also developed multilingual sales software packages. The Intelliquip Instant IQ can be used in English, Chinese, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.

“Clients often talk about moving at the ‘speed of business’ but in the world of sales automation – when you need the right information right away virtually anywhere in the world – business as usual isn’t fast enough,” Brockway said. “The new Instant IQ will move our clients at the ‘speed of sales.’”
