Grundfos is hosting its Annual Walk for Water event for 2022, continuing its partnership with Water Mission, a non-profit Christian water engineering organization, based in Charleston, South Carolina. This is the 13th edition of the event and is organized every year to bring awareness for the 2.2 billion people worldwide without access to safe drinking water. The Walk for Water will be held in Houston, Texas at Buffalo Bayou Park on October 29th, 2022.

In addition to our partnership with Water Mission, we have also partnered with the City of Houston Public Works for the first time. This exemplifies our goal to build a stronger relationship with our neighboring community to build better water infrastructure now and in the future.

During the walk, participants will carry a pale about 1.5 miles to a midway point and fill it with water. They will then carry the water an additional 1.5 miles to finish the walk, where the water will be poured out. You can participate in the walk virtually or physically by paying the $25 fee and will receive an official event t-shirt, and a page with tools to help you raise additional funds. Children can also be added to the registration for both registration types, but children added virtually will not receive a shirt. You can register as an individual, register a team, or join an existing one.
