Pump Operator Training – Level 1

The purpose of this program is to teach principles and procedures that will optimize pump and seal life through proper operation.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify different styles of centrifugal pumps and the components within them
- Perform safe operating procedures including venting, warm-up, starting, and switching pumps
- Properly monitor and adjust bearing lubrication
- Understand mechanical seal components and common seal flush plans
AUDIENCE
A Basics Level class for operators, craftsmen, and entry-level engineers and technicians.
