The A.W. Chesterton Company helped deliver boxes full of toys, collected during their “Christmas in July” toy drive, to the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center in honor of a ten year old girl named Noelle. After the hospital helped Noelle with her recovery, she was led to an almost empty “Prize Closet,” to select a gift. Noelle became concerned for the many other sick kids that would follow her, so she decided to start a toy drive to give back to the hospital.
When Chesterton’s employee engagement team heard about Noelle’s story, they launched a campaign to help. Chesterton employees generously donated new toys to a number of wrapped boxes around the campus. The toys started piling high, and when Noelle and her family visited Chesterton to see for themselves, they were thrilled at how successful the toy drive was. After a celebration, Noelle expressed how thankful she was, with Chesterton’s assistance she is now be able to make an even bigger difference in the lives of sick children.
“We can’t thank you enough for all your support and your donations” said the team at Tuft’s as they witnessed the large number of toys being delivered.
