Quick problem-solving while under the pump

As the saying goes; when it rains, it pours. Recently, our team had been dealing with a sand quarry to repair their HH130i. With the recent rains, the dam level at their site had risen significantly and the customer was advised by the EPA to reduce the water level immediately as there was a high chance that the water would spill into the State forest.

With their pump being down for repairs and needing a quick turnaround to get it back up and running, the customer asked if we could supply an assembled bearing bracket which would make for a much simpler repair for him onsite. This isn’t something that we have done for this particular model of pump before.

After consulting with our Cardiff Engineering and Production team, the 18 parts required for the assembly were identified and delivered to the workshop where the job was completed in the space of a few hours.

NSW Customer Support Sales Representative, Matt Simmonds, comments;

“The customer collected the bearing bracket assembly from us on Friday afternoon. They successfully repaired their pump and lowered the dam level over the weekend. This couldn’t have been possible without the cooperation of all four departments that were involved. Thank you for the outstanding effort by the team.”

Our team are excellent at thinking on our feet when we are knee-deep!
