Wilden Set to Exhibit at The CHEM SHOW 2011

Wilden®, the worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump technology, is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting in Booth 540 at the upcoming 54th annual Chemical Process Industries Exposition—more commonly known as The CHEM SHOW—which will be held from Nov. 1-3 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The CHEM SHOW highlights the latest process equipment, products and technology for the Chemical Processing Industry (CPI) and brings together manufacturers and suppliers with industry executive, engineers, production teams and plant personnel.

At the show, Wilden will be highlighting its bolted Advanced™ Series pumps, which are the most innovative AODD pumps available to the CPI market today. Features that set Advanced Series pumps apart in chemical-processing applications include:

  • The patented Pro-Flo X™ Air Distribution System (ADS) that offers a state-of-the-art Efficiency Management System (EMS™) which allows the operator to dial in the actual operational parameters regardless of the application demands or pump size. This results in pump operation that is the most efficient and cost-effective in the industry.
  • Full Stroke PTFE (Teflon®) diaphragms that provide increased product displacement per stroke, resulting in greater flow rates and higher efficiencies when compared to pumps that rely on reduced-stroke PTFE diaphragms.
  • A “drop in” design that allows the pump to be installed into an existing pump footprint without the need to disturb the piping, resulting in reduced maintenance costs and system downtime.

Additionally, to aid chemical processors in finding the right pumps for their various applications, Wilden has developed the “See More Green” Web site. Found at www.wildenpump.com/seemoregreen, the site features the PX Simulator, which lets visitors enter the parameters (flow rate, pressure, etc.) of their pumping application with the PX Simulator letting them know the proper setting for the Pro-Flo X™ ADS.

Jim Wilden, founder of Wilden Pump and Engineering Co., revolutionized the pumping industry when he invented the air-operated double-diaphragm pump in 1955. Since then, Wilden has created a line of distinctive pumps that have proven to be trustworthy solutions to pumping applications in a wide variety of industries. Wilden—headquartered in Grand Terrace, California, USA—is a member of Dover Corporation’s Pump Solutions Group (PSG).
