Wilden® Continues Global Rollout of Pro-Flo® SHIFT

Wilden®, part of Pump Solutions Group (PSG®) and a worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump technology, is pleased to announce it has expanded the global reach of the Pro-Flo® SHIFT line of air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump technology by making its website and related marketing collateral available in seven different languages — French, German, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The new sites and collateral were created to support localized sales and service of the Pro-Flo SHIFT product line.

The contents of each site were rewritten specifically for each language to optimize presentation of key product data for each market. All sites contain the Pro-Flo SHIFT video with either subtitles or voiceover in that specific language describing principles of operation, features and benefits. Visitors will also see an animated image clearly demonstrating how the extremely efficient air control spool restricts air flow to the filling air chamber at the end of each stroke, dosing in the proper amount of energy required to complete the stroke. In addition, written materials such as flyers, brochures and manuals can be conveniently downloaded in each specific language.

The Pro-Flo SHIFT site is available in the following languages:

“The multilingual website will be a valuable informational resource to educate global markets about the unique advantages of the Pro-Flo SHIFT,” said Walter Bonnett, PSG Vice President of Global Marketing. “With the world getting smaller day by day, the site addresses the ever increasing globalization of our planet and the need to communicate emerging technologies in native languages for companies internationally.”

The Pro-Flo SHIFT Air Distribution System (ADS) allows Wilden Advanced Series bolted and Original Series clamped AODD pumps to achieve up to a 60% savings in air consumption over competitive AODD pump technologies for greater product yield per standard cubic foot per minute (SCFM). Due to this significant energy savings and improved pump performance, Wilden’s Pro-Flo SHIFT was recognized as a 2013 Breakthrough Product of the Year from Processing Magazine. This award acknowledges products, technologies and service solutions that made significant contributions in the process industry within the last year and are expected to have an impact for years to come.

While the Pro-Flo SHIFT dramatically improves energy efficiency and overall sustainability, it also costs 50% less than an electronically-actuated ADS, is submersible, and features plug-and-play operation. Its robust design makes the Pro-Flo SHIFT ideal for use in harsh operating environments and includes ATEX compliance for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Using fewer operating parts, the Pro-Flo SHIFT’s unique design prevents overfilling to prolong diaphragm life and reduce noise, maintenance and repair for less downtime and a lower total cost of ownership.

The Wilden Pro-Flo SHIFT is available in 38 mm (1-1/2”), 51 mm (2”), and 76 mm (3”) sizes and features maximum discharge pressures to 8.6 bar (125 psig), maximum flows to 1,060 L/min (280 gpm) and maximum solid-handling size to 13 mm (1/2”). The Pro-Flo SHIFT is available with maximum suction lifts to 7.2 m (23.8’) dry and 9.6 m (30.6’) wet.
