Understanding Pump Systems is Key

Image of a Pump SystemThere are training class going on all over the world with the purpose of getting a better understanding of Pump Systems.

I found it interesting today when I searched in Wikipedia for “Pump Systems”… I got the response “The page “pump systems” does not exist.  And it wasn’t just the words “pump systems” but also pumping system, pumps systems, the system of pumping… I believe it doesn’t exist because our industry is still trying to define exactly what the pump system should include… Where does it start and stop, begin and end?  Should it include both open and closed systems?

Each market/industry has different needs and definitions for pump systems.  This is why we must together as “The Pump Industry” to answer these questions:

  • How do we define pump systems?
  • How do we measure efficiency?
  • How do we get involved in the process?

These are the questions our industry must answer…  How are you helping?
