Texas Water 2020 Rescheduled for July 13-16

Contributor: Texas AWWA

July 13-16, 2020

Fort Worth Convention Center

1201 Houston St.

Fort Worth, TX 76102

Based on public health recommendations to limit large gatherings, we have decided to postpone our annual Texas Water 2020 conference until July 13-16, 2020. This was a difficult decision, but we believe it is the best way to protect the health and safety of our attendees, speakers, and exhibitors.

We anticipate hosting the same conference, just in July, on a Monday-Thursday schedule. We are working with all conference venues and hotels to ensure the process of moving Texas Water to July goes as smoothly as possible. More details about these efforts will be related via email and posted on the Texas Water website as they become available.

We want to thank all our exhibitors and attendees for their patience and support as we work to transition the conference. Texas Water 2020 was on track to be one of our best conferences ever and we will do everything we can to provide the same valuable conference this July.

We will provide more information as it becomes available but initial answers can be found below. As arrangements are still a work in progress, we expect quite a few inquiries. Your patience is appreciated as we try to respond as quickly as possible. Please understand that it may take some time to solidify the necessary details so we can respond with the most up-to-date information.

Attendee Registration:

If you have already registered for the Texas Water conference, your registration will be automatically transferred to the new dates – there will be no need to reregister. If you would like to inquire about a refund or need to make changes to your registration, please send an email to texwater@texas.net.

Exhibitor Registration:

Exhibitor registrations will be carried over to the new dates. The exhibit hall floorplan will remain the same and you will keep the same booth number(s). If you can no longer exhibit on the new dates and would like to inquire about a refund, please send an email to texwater@texas.net.

Hotel Reservations:

Hotel reservations within the Texas Water room block at the Omni and Sheraton hotels will be automatically canceled and you will need to rebook your rooms. We will do our best to notify those with hotel rooms currently in the block when the new block is open so you can rebook your hotel rooms. This should happen within the next several weeks. If you have reservations outside of the room block or at other hotels, you will need to cancel and rebook your reservations for the new dates.

Technical Program/Presenters:

We anticipate having the same technical program, just on the new dates. We will be contacting presenters in the upcoming weeks to confirm if you are still available to make your presentation(s) on the new date(s).

Sponsorship/Advertising:

Texas Water 2020 greatly appreciates your support of our organizations – The Water Environment Association of Texas and the Texas Section of the American Water Works Association. Your sponsorships and ads will automatically carry over to the new dates. If you would like to inquire about a refund, please send an email to texwater@texas.net.
