Tencarva Machinery Company Named 35th in Fast 40

Tencarva Machinery Company, a distributor of pumps, pumping systems, fluid handling systems and related products, headquartered in Greensboro, N.C., is named for the first time in the “North Carolina Mid-Market Fast 40” as 35th in the listing, which is published in a supplement to the November 2012 issue of Business North Carolina and verified by Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP, certified public accountants and consultants headquartered in Richmond, Va.

The “North Carolina Mid-Market Fast 40” ranks companies based on a combination of workforce and revenue growth from 2009 to 2011. Tencarva’s ranking is in the Large-Middle Market category, which includes companies with revenues of $100 million to $500 million.

To be eligible for the ranking, a company must be headquartered in the state of North Carolina, be a commercial enterprise and not a nonprofit, be either privately owned or publicly traded, have annual revenue in the range of $15 million to $500 million, and demonstrate sustained revenue and employment growth over the past three years. .
