Speakers Bios:
Todd Bush works closely with companies to identify and commercialize energy transition opportunities across the Energy, Chemicals, & Mining value chains. Projects have included feasibility studies for carbon capture, commercial due diligence for equipment suppliers, geologic sequestration studies, and other benchmarking services.
He started decarbonfuse.com & Fuse Markets to deliver data and insights for industrial decarbonization in energy, chemicals, mining, and materials.
Todd was previously Head of North America for Westwood Global Energy focusing on onshore energy supply and demand. He built and sold a data-driven market intelligence firm to Westwood. He started his energy career at Chevron in 2007 working in operations and digital technologies.
Todd is an alumnus of Texas A&M University and Rice University.
Tomas Dobrovolskis holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from the same institution, obtained in 2022. His career commenced at Yeomans Chicago Corporation/Grundfos, where he honed his expertise as a Project Engineer in the pump industry. With a solid six-year foundation, Tomas transitioned into the industrial fan sector, taking on a pivotal role as a New Product Development Manager.
In 2015, Tomas played a central role in establishing Hidrostal in the United States, an endeavor that has marked a significant milestone in his 19-year tenure in the fluid dynamics field. His professional journey is distinguished by a commitment to innovation in pump technology, spearheading project leadership, product design, and the creation of educational materials within the engineering community. Tomas is heavily involved in the Hydraulic Institute, serving on the Board of Directors for both the Hydraulic Institute and the Hydraulic Institute University, where he contributes to advancing industry standards and education. When not immersed in engineering challenges, Tomas dedicates his time to his family and pursues his passion for the outdoors.
Dr. Gary Dyson leads the global advanced engineering group for Hydro and received his Ph.D. from Cranfield University on CFD in centrifugal pumps. Gary has spent his entire career specializing in rotating equipment. He has used his hydraulic expertise to help many customers re-engineer their equipment to improve reliability, performance and efficiency.
