Sundyne, a global leader in the design and manufacture of mission-critical pumps and compressors, announced the appointment of Andrew Matsuyama as Chief Financial Officer, Neil Langdown has been promoted to Commercial Excellence Leader, and Colin Guppy has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer.
Andrew Matsuyama Appointed Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Matsuyama brings nearly 15 years of experience as CFO of Norican Group and its predecessor, Wheelabrator Group, a private equity-owned engineered equipment manufacturer. In this capacity, he led a global finance organization and helped drive strategic initiatives across mergers and acquisitions, capital structure optimization, and business process improvement. Mr. Matsuyama has also previously served as a Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. and he was a Senior Manager at Protiviti Consulting.

Neil Langdown Appointed Commercial Excellence Leader and Vice President of Asia
Neil Langdown has been promoted to a new strategic role of Commercial Excellence Leader. Neil will also continue to serve Sundyne customers in his current role as Vice President for Asia.
Neil Langdown has worked at Sundyne since 2018, where he has focused on oil & gas and petrochemical markets. In his newly appointed roles, Langdown will focus on creating value by leveraging IOT condition-based monitoring to develop new business models and service offerings. Neil will also work to improve efficiency & profitability by digitizing business processes and enhancing the customer experience through seamless platform integration.
Prior to Sundyne, Neil held leadership positions in related industries, as Managing Director for Bedford Pumps for the water industry and Sales & Marketing Director at Siemens for power generation. In additional to his OEM experience, Neil also has extensive service & support experience as Aftermarket Director for Wartsila and General Manager of Hayward Taylor’s Service Division, concentrating on pumps & motors for Subsea and Nuclear markets.

Colin Guppy Appointed Chief Commercial Officer
Colin Guppy has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer. In this newly created role, Guppy will lead the original equipment and aftermarket strategies for Sundyne’s vertical markets in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.
With more than 25 years of industry expertise, and a successful career with Sundyne that dates back to 2000, Colin Guppy is uniquely qualified to bring the breadth and depth of Sundyne’s engineering and operational resources to meet today’s challenges. His proven track record of co-creating innovative solutions and leading global sales teams will ensure the success of Sundyne’s customers and channel partners.
In the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer, Guppy will work with Sundyne customers and channel partners to continue developing the right mix of products and aftermarket services that customers in the oil & gas, chemical and industrial markets need to meet their evolving business needs.
