Simerics releases PumpLinx® Version v3.2 for virtual pump testing

Simerics Inc. is proud to announce the release of PumpLinx® Version v3.2PumpLinx® is a CFD simulation tool with unique capabilities for virtual testing of fluid pumpsmotorscompressorsvalves, and systems with rotating and/or sliding components. Starting with a 3-D CAD design, PumpLinx® enables the engineer to create a virtual test article and generate flow visualization and engineering output similar in accuracy to full scale hardware test at a fraction of the time and cost.

The newly released PumpLinx® v3.2 has expanded capabilities including:

Core Capabilities

 Heat, Flow, Turbulence

 Aeration and Cavitation

 Cavitation Damage Model

 1-DOF FSI (Linear and Rotational)

 Particle Tracking

Pumps/Motors/Compressors Templates

 Axial / Centrifugal / Mixed Flow

 Piston: Bent Axis / Radial / Swashplate

 Crescent / Gerotor

 External Gear

 Vane: Balanced / Fixed / Variable Displacement

 Progressive Cavity

 Scroll

Dynamic Valve Predictions

 Spool / Ball / Axial / Circumferential

Extensive 3-D System Modeling

PumpLinx® Version 3.2 Webinars

The following Webinars are scheduled for PumpLinx® v3.2 to provide an overview of existing capabilities, plus introduce new features ofVersion 3.2 for selected templates. The sessions are limited in size, with preference given to current users of PumpLinx®, however any interested party is encouraged to register and will be included, space permitting. Future repeat sessions will be made available to those who are unable to attend during the first round. Invitations and instructions for joining the Webinars will be e-mailed.
