Himmelstein and Company announces the MCRT® 94000V Series Bearingless Rotary Thrustmeter which measures axial force in real-time. The MCRT® 94000V provides users with an accurate and reliable measurement of thrust in their system. This not only results in more accurate thrust readings across the range of expected operation during performance testing but can also be monitored in the field to detect unexpected changes.
Thrust ranges are from 2.22 to 445 Nm. Torque signal outputs include analog, digital and FM Data. They have mechanical overload protection to 200% of full scale and also have performance offerings of +0.08, +0.04, or +0.05 percent of full range. Rotor-to-Stator Gap specifications are all inclusive. That is, an MCRT®94000V may be operated anywhere within the envelope defined by their axial and radial gap specifications.
A Carrier Amplifier, immune to dc and low frequency noise, handles the torque bridge output. Hardening against electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by Variable Frequency Drives, ISM transmitters and other industrial noise sources further enhances performance.
Features include:
- Low Thrust Error, Tested and Documented
- Transmits High Torques with Low Crosstalk
- 200% Thrust Overload
- Speed Ranges to ±15,000 rpm
- Optional Speed Output Signal
- ISO 17025 Accredited Calibration
The MCRT® 94000V provides exceptional ease of installation and operating efficiency. All units are shipped with an NIST traceable calibration performed in Himmelstein’s ISO 17025:2017 accredited metrology laboratory (NVLAP Lab Code 200487).
