Pump Solutions Group (PSG®) to Exhibit Leading Pumps for the Chemicals Industry at KHIMIA 2013

Pump Solutions Group (PSG®), an operating company within Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) and a global leader of pumps, systems and related technologies, is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting its leading pumps for the global chemicals industry in Booth 23B62 at the upcoming 17th International Exhibition for the Chemical Science and Industry (KHIMIA 2013), which will be held from Oct. 28-31 in Moscow, Russia.

Held biennially ever since its debut in 1965, this year’s KHIMIA is expected to attract approximately 21,000 professionals from the global chemicals industry as well as over 600 companies from 26 countries. The following PSG operating companies will be displaying their leading equipment in the booth:

Wilden® will be featuring its new Pro-Flo® SHIFT Air Distribution System (ADS), which, thanks to its revolutionary design, allows Wilden air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps to achieve up to a 60% savings in air consumption over all competitive AODD pump technologies, while providing more product yield per standard cubic foot per minute (SCFM). The Pro-Flo SHIFT ADS is available for use in Wilden Advanced Series bolted and Original Series clamped AODD pumps, and its robust design makes it ideal for use in harsh operating environments and includes ATEX compliance for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Wilden will also be displaying its Advanced Series AODD Pumps. Due to its bolted configuration, Wilden Advanced Series pumps ensure total product containment while the redesigned liquid path reduces internal friction to maximize output and efficiency.

Almatec® will be displaying its innovative AODD pumps, including its E-Series Plastic AODD Pumps that have been specifically designed to handle and transfer the most dangerous chemicals, including acids, solvents and caustics. E-Series pumps feature no mechanical seals or packing, eliminating a critical leak point. Rather, Almatec offers a unique stainless-steel containment ring that creates consistent high-torque compression all the way around the ring, pulling the components tightly together and eliminating a potential leak path. The E-Series is made from CNC machined solid block PTFE or PE, which allows the pumps to be used in the harshest environments handling the most dangerous chemicals. Other features include a pulsation dampener that ensures a consistent flow rate with minimum pulsation and vibration; as well as a barrier chamber system that prevents media from spilling into the atmosphere.

Mouvex® will be featuring its C-Series Eccentric Disc Pumps at the show. Mouvex C-Series pumps safely handle the most dangerous chemicals thanks to its design that requires no magnets, no mechanical seals or packing. The seal-less design allows the C-Series to self-compensate for mechanical wear, giving the pumps the ability to maintain consistent flow rates over time. The seal-less design also ensures total product containment – a critical part of handling dangerous chemicals such as isocyanates, acids, solvents and caustics.

Other design features of the ATEX-rated C-Series are self-priming and line-stripping capabilities; low shear rate; high vacuum and compression effect; reduced maintenance; and clean-in-place (CIP) / sanitize-in-place (SIP) capabilities. Additionally, Mouvex recently announced the availability of the SLC4 and SLC8 models of its Seal-less Drive Eccentric Disc Pumps. These pumps have been specifically designed for the handling of numerous chemical-based compounds and incorporate a variety of major technological advancements.

Blackmer® will be displaying its System One® centrifugal pumps, which have been designed for high-volume, severe-duty applications making them ideal for critical applications within the chemicals industry. Designed around the seal where 90% of pump failures occur, the System One has a stiffer heavy-duty shaft and larger bearings resulting in the widest operational window off the Best Efficiency Point (BEP) than any standard process pump. This means that chemical processors can expect the System One to improve mean time between failures to reduce maintenance costs. In addition, Blackmer will be showcasing its HD Series Reciprocating Gas Compressors. HD Series compressors provide quiet, efficient transfer, boosting and recovery of a wide range of industrial gases. Designed for maximum performance and reliability under the most severe operating conditions, HD Series compressors are equipped with high-efficiency ductile-iron valves with PEEK valve plates, ductile-iron head and cylinders, a full-compartment distance piece with two sets of self-adjusting filled Teflon® TFE packing on each piston rod for maximum leakage control, self-lubricating TFE piston rings, precision-ground crankshaft and a pressure-lubricated crankcase.
