Fluid Dynamics™ Liquid and Dry Polymer Systems on Display at WEFTEC 2017

Fluid Dynamics, a leading manufacturer of liquid and dry polymer blending systems and a division of Neptune Chemical Pump Co., is pleased to announce that it will be featuring its industry-leading liquid and dry polymer systems at the upcoming Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC). WEFTEC – which is one of the largest events for the global water and wastewater industry – will take place from Sept. 30 – Oct. 4 in Chicago, IL, USA.

Exhibiting in booth 4423, Fluid Dynamics will be featuring its state-of-the-art dynaBLEND™ liquid polymer dilution/feed system at this year’s show. The patented dynaBLEND technology eases the task of blending liquid polymers for wastewater processes because it has been designed to effectively activate all types of liquid polymers. The dynaBLEND’s non-mechanical mixing chamber also delivers an unequalled degree of reliability when compared to other technologies. The system also features an injection check valve designed with easy disassembly and inspection in mind, which eliminates many of the maintenance concerns that affect other systems.

In addition, Fluid Dynamics will also have a live demo unit of its dynaJET™ dry polymer preparation system on display. The dynaJET is an ideal solution for wastewater applications because it utilizes a negative-pressure pneumatic conveyance system to transport and disperse the dry polymer prior to wetting. Dispersing dry polymer prior to coming into contact with the dilution water assures effective polymer particle wetting. Effectively wetting each polymer particle prevents polymer agglomerations from occurring. The result is reduced mix and hydration times, higher polymer performance and lower chemical costs. The dynaJET is typically applied on applications requiring more than 9#/hour of polymer and when the polymer transfer distance is more than 20 feet from the volumetric feeder to the mix tank.
