Optimized Product Chambers Make Almatec CHEMICOR Pumps Ideal for Chemical Handling

CHEMICOR Pumps on Display in Booth 540 at upcoming CHEM SHOW

Almatec®, a premier manufacturer of air-operated diaphragm pumps, has recognized the strict product-handling requirements of chemical processors and designed its CHEMICOR Series Metal Pneumatic Diaphragm Pumps with efficient and user-friendly product chambers.

Chemical processing requires precise, gentle handling of expensive components, with product damage or loss unable to betolerated. Those requirements were the driving force behind Almatec’s design of the CHEMICOR’s product chambers, which feature soft contours that result in smooth flow channels and no dead spaces during chemical-processing applications. This sensitivity to the needs of the chemical processor helps make CHEMICOR Series pumps the ideal choice for the handling and transfer of chemicals.

Additionally, the other standard features of the CHEMICOR Series—including compact solid design, easy-start-up, absence of rotating parts and shaft seals, gentle displacement, dry-running and self-priming operation, no diaphragm discs and Almatec’s patented maintenance-free air-control system (PERSWING P®) without a dead center—make these pumps an industry-leading choice in the handling of chemicals.

CHEMICOR pumps are available in three volume sizes: 75-lpm/20-gpm (AD 20), 150-lpm/40-gpm (AD 32) and 400-lpm/100-gpm (AD 50). The CHEMICOR’s components have been chosen with chemical compatibility in mind, including stainless-steel, precision-cast housing, diaphragms and ball valves consisting of EPDM and PTFE. CHEMICOR pumps also offer a number of optional features that allow them to be customized for the specific needs of any chemical-processing facility. These options include a pulsation damper, a polished version, draining system, barrier chamber system, diaphragm monitor, stroke counting and extended special ports for use in sanitary conditions.

Almatec will be displaying its complete line of CHEMICOR Series Metal Pneumatic Diaphragm Pumps in Booth 540 with its parent company, the Pump Solutions Group (PSG™), at the upcoming CHEM SHOW, which will be held from Nov. 1-3 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
