MECO acquires Water Works

MECO, a Grundfos company, acquires California-based Water Works to strengthen its ultrapure water treatment portfolio​

MECO – a Grundfos Company and global market leader in Water for Injection – has acquired San Diego based Water Works, thereby strengthening its ultrapure water solutions to life science and biopharmaceutical customers.​

“Water Works offers MECO a broader product portfolio with smaller capacity, high purity water systems and superior service capabilities in California. We are excited to have them join MECO and reinforce our leadership in providing water solutions to biopharmaceutical and life science customers” says George Gsell, President, MECO.​

By joining MECO, Water Works will become a part of Grundfos as a member of the Industry Division’s Water Treatment Solutions platform.​

Headquartered in San Diego, Southern California, United States, Water Works already has a strong foothold in the Californian market serving the life-science and biotech sectors with a range of ultrapure water treatment expertise, offerings and services. ​
