John Whalen appointed VP of Strategy Integration by Pump Solutions Group

Pump Solutions Group (PSG™) has announced that John Whalen has been appointed Vice President of Strategy Integration. In this position, Whalen will report directly to Dean Douglas, PSG President.

“In this new role, John will be an integral part of the ongoing mergers-and-acquisitions ambitions within PSG, specifically overseeing all integration activity surrounding our acquisitions in order to provide a secure and robust bridge to day-to-day operations,” said Douglas. “Additionally, for a further period of time John will continue to drive information, implementation and strategy for PSG India.”

Whalen joined PSG in 2010 in the interim position of Vice President-Asia Region. In that time, he successfully assisted PSG in accelerating its growth efforts, strategic initiatives and acquisition activities in Asia. Prior to moving to his new position within the organization, Whalen completed the handover of responsibilities to David Wang, VP Sales & Business Development-Asia for all activities in Southeast and Central Asia, and China.

To his new role Whalen brings extensive global experience in sales, marketing and general management, which he has acquired while living overseas for the past 17 years. Before joining PSG, his most recent roles included Managing Director Europe at Gardner Denver Nash in Nuremberg, Germany; VP/GM for Nash Elmo Industries; VP Sales & Marketing at The Nash Engineering Co.; and VP Global Sales & Marketing for Band-IT IDEX, Inc. He holds a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The entire  packaging process is paid into detail to enhance the collections quality and appearance.
