Our Industry Person of the Week is Kyle Johnstone, Regional Manager at Atlas Copco Pump Division.

Q: How did you get started working in your field?

Kyle: I was currently selling retail, and a friend referred me to an outside sales opportunity in the pump rental sector in 2013.

Q: What do you love the most about your job? What are you most proud of?

Kyle: It’s always been the customers that make our job fun and rewarding. Also, the support from our team and moving towards an overall goal.

Q: What advice would you give to someone considering this line of work or new to the field?

Kyle: Be willing to learn/adapt and success will follow.

Q: Can you talk about a project you recently worked on?

Kyle: Recently, I helped spec. in a job for fire protection in the south. Responding fast, and having the product available was a game changer for the customer.
