Grundfos employees win Diversity Award for Employee Resource Groups

By: Grundfos

In 2021, Grundfos established Employees Resource Groups to help make Grundfos a world class place to work, learn and grow. Now the ERGs have won the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative award at the Danish Diversity Awards – and came runners-up in the category of Employee of the year.

The Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) are employee led forums consisting of four groups (Pride@Grundfos, Women@Grundfos, Future@Grundfos and Abilities@Grundfos) for underrepresented groups of people for engagement, learning, community building and collaboration. Last year, Grundfos established the Employee Resource Groups with the ambition to give underrepresented groups a voice, to strengthen the sense of belonging and to be able to tackle company-wide business challenges by bringing relevant solutions forward.

Now, the global ERG leads have collectively been nominated for/and won the Danish Diversity Awards in two categories, Employee of the year and DE&I initiative of the year.

“Our Global ERG Leads have been crucial in making the ERGs successful in Grundfos. Due to their hard work and compassion, we have active ERGs with participants from more than 30 countries and they just continue to grow. This shows us that the ERGs are successful and a needed initiative in Grundfos where people feel heard and valued,” says Ulla Grøn, Head of DE&I, Grundfos.

The ERG initiative is led by one or more global leads. These are colleagues who work with the ERG’s voluntarily and they have turned their passion, dedication, and hard work into real action to support an inclusive work environment.
