After a successful kick-off at IFAT 2016, the new SEEPEX VR mobile app is now available for free download for your iPhone and iPad from the Apple AppStore. The launch of SEEPEX VR marks a further advance for SEEPEX toward innovative technology and a better customer experience.

As the acronym in the name suggests, the app uses virtual and augmented reality techniques to present SEEPEX’s progressive cavity pump product portfolio and pumps equipped with the innovative, patentded SCT pump design. SCT allows for faster maintenance times, longer parts use and overall reduced life-cycle costs compared to conventional progressive cavity pumps. The app also offers practical support for service work on SCT pumps. Users are guided through all the necessary steps, using an animated model of an SCT pump which can be manipulated freely.

While our SCT product manager, Paul Finan demonstrated the manual dis-assembly and reassembly of our pump, visitors who walked up late or who wanted to replay the assembly were able to do so on their own with the use of an iPad. Users simply placed the iPad over our physical SCT pump and scrolled through the stack up assembly at their own speed.”
