Fuji Electric Awarded Green Building Product Certificate for Variable Speed Drives

Fuji Electric announced that the company’s FRENIC-HVAC and FRENIC-AQUA have recently been awarded the Green Building Product Certificate by the Singapore Green Building Council. The certification confirms that Fuji Electric Variable Speed Drives are energy saving, eco-friendly products and the company is poised to meet the burgeoning customer needs for energy efficiency equipment in industrial and commercial buildings.

The FRENIC-HVAC is designed to optimize energy consumption in office and industrial buildings related to HVAC, which generally consumes 50% of a building’s total electricity. The product features sensor inputs for temperature, flow rate etc. and 4PID control functions to monitor and control critical processes for efficient building automation functions. FRENIC-AQUA comes standard with advanced features to meet the requirements of water treatment plants, including, cascade control, dry pump detection, slow flow rate function, and pick-up operation. Both products are fully covered Fuji Electric’s industry-leading 3-year warranty.
