The Fluid Sealing Association Appoints Phil Mahoney As Vice President of Board of Directors

The Fluid Sealing Association® is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Mahoney as Vice President of its Board of Directors.  Mr. Mahoney is currently the Design Engineering Manager for Compression Packing and Mechanical Seals for the A.W. Chesterton Company in Groveland, MA.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management.  With over 24 years of experience in the sealing industry, Mr. Mahoney has held various engineering positions including Applications Engineering, Product Management and New Product Development.

Mr. Mahoney currently serves the FSA as Vice Chair of the Membership Committee, as well as a member of the Government Affairs Working Group, the Marketing Committee, and the Technical Coordinating Committee.  He is the past Chair of the Compression Packing Division and the Compression Packing Technical Committee.   He has been active in the FSA since 2004.

Founded in 1933, the Fluid Sealing Association is an international trade association.  Member companies are involved in the production and marketing of a wide range of virtually fluid sealing devices primarily targeted to the industrial market.  FSA membership includes a number of companies in Europe and Central and South America, but is most heavily concentrated in North America. FSA members account for a majority of the manufacturing capacity for fluid sealing devices in the Americas market.
