EnviroGear added to Maag Industrial Pumps platform

PSG’s Maag Industrial Pumps, the global leader in positive displacement pumps and systems, is pleased to announce the addition of EnviroGear® Seal-less Internal Gear Pumps to its product portfolio.

The EnviroGear Seal-less Internal Gear Pump line is now part of PSG’s newly created Maag Industrial Pumps platform. Maag Industrial Pumps will feature a new brand image and pump technologies targeting general industrial applications. The combination of PSG’s product portfolio of gear and screw pump technology along with Maag’s strong brand reputation of quality, innovation and customized solutions will strengthen EnviroGear’s global position. PSG will use its global manufacturing facilities, engineering capabilities, as well as its pump and systems expertise to deliver value-added solutions to EnviroGear customers.

The EnviroGear pump features a revolutionary seal-less design with patented between-the-bearing support system, which effectively eliminates leaks and mechanical wear, making it one of the safest and most reliable gear pumps in the industry. Its design also uses magnets mounted directly to the rotor, eliminating the adapter plate, which, in turn, allows for a single-fluid chamber. This single-fluid chamber design results in a much shorter, simpler flow path and allows the pump to easily handle fluids with high viscosities up to 50,000 cSt while increasing bearing life and cleanability.

EnviroGear Seal-less Internal Gear pumps are available in ductile-iron, carbon-steel and stainless-steel construction with differential pressures from 1.4 to 13.8 bar (20 to 200 psi) for ductile-iron and carbon-steel models, and 1.4 to 10.3 bar (20 to 150 psi) for stainless-steel units. All pumps are available for temperatures from -40ºC (-40ºF) to 260°C (500°F).
