Empowering Pumps & Equipment will be exhibiting at WEFTEC this year at booth # 2164. We are excited to be doing some new things at our booth and participating in a few different industry events.
On Monday and Tuesday, we will have Jacob McGough with Infrastructure Brew at our booth giving out special WEFTEC coffee promos. If you’re a coffee lover or just like to give to a good cause, stop by to say hello to Jacob! Infrastructure Brew donates a portion of every bag sale to the Water Equation proudly supporting the Community Engineering Corps – a cause that focuses on repairing critical infrastructures located throughout the US.
We will also have Melissa Butcher, aka Mel the Engineer, at our booth at 2:00 pm CT on Monday, where she will be participating in a live interview with our very own Charli K. Matthews. Mel is the host of the Empowering Women Podcast, a production of the Empowering Women in Industry organization. “Having known Mel for a little while now, I’m excited to finally meet her in person and share that moment with our WEFTEC community,” shares Charli.
Later on Monday, we will be attending in the Women in Water Reception at 5:15 pm where Charli will be a table leader with the rest of our team engaged at that event. The goal of the reception is to inform, inspire, and connect current and future female water sector leaders representing a variety of disciplines – engineering, operations, research, management, and communications. We can’t wait to join this group for another year!
As a digital media company, our team will be covering the Operations Challenge on both Monday and Tuesday and cheering on all of the amazing teams competing.
