Elos Fixturlaser Changes Name to ACOEM AB

VibrAlign, distributor of Fixturlaser shaft alignment systems in the United States, announced that in June 2014 the ACOEM Group, France, acquired Elos Fixturlaser AB, Sweden, the world leading developer and manufacturer of laser-based shaft alignment systems.

Effective September 15, 2014, Elos Fixturlaser AB has changed its company name to ACOEM AB. Please note that this is only a name change. The company’s corporate identification number, addresses, as well as all company contact information remain unchanged.

“With the ACOEM Group, we have found a new owner within the same industrial segment as us. Although Fixturlaser at large will remain unchanged, the name change to ACOEM AB will clearly show that we today are a part of the ACOEM Group”, says Hans Svensson, CEO of ACOEM AB.

The ACOEM Group, headquarterd in Lyon, France, is a global player within maintenance and reliability with brand names such as 01dB, OneProd, and Metravib.

The change of ownership and the name change will not affect the distribution of Fixturlaser products. Fabien Condemine, CEO of ACOEM Group says, ” ACOEM will continue to support the existing distributors of Fixturlaser’s product range to ensure a continued growth of the market. We are convinced that the benefit of the strong Fixturlaser distribution network will help the ACOEM Group to reach its goals”.

According to David Zdrojewski, CEO of VibrAlign, “The acquisition of Fixturlaser AB by the ACOEM Group aligns VibrAlign with an innovative provider of products and services with extensive experience in improving the productivity and reliability of industrial processes.  We look forward to ever greater opportunities to pursue our quest to Realign America.”
