Spiral Wound Gasket Solution For A Natural Gas Regulation Station

Spiral Wound Gasket Solution For A Natural Gas Regulation Station

End-User Description

“In our experience with other brands that we have used in the past, Durlon® is by far the best option. The winding is tight, the flexible graphite doesn’t fall apart when manipulated, and the welds are solid and don’t break when torqued.”

The Challenge

“Because of the advanced technical assembly of the Durlon® SWG, we were pleased to discover that no damage to the winding, centering rings or flexible graphite material occurred when accidentally dropped. We attribute this to the engineered winding and durable materials that Durlon® provides.”

The Solution

“By using Durlon products we are avoiding having to replace other SWG’s that would have otherwise popped during installation, encountering issues with the flexible graphite and/or would have unwound during the installation process.”

The Benefits

The Durlon® SWG was shipped on time, packaged well and arrived without any damaged pieces. The tech support by a local representative is good, and they had a nice visit from the manufacturer. In the past and at previous jobs they had used Durlon® 8500 1/16” for a multi-stage slurry pump. This product was installed over two years ago. It was easy to manipulate, easy to cut, and very durable – and continues to work well today!
