Blackmer to Exhibit at NPGA Show 2012

Blackmer®, a global leader in positive displacement rotary vane pump and reciprocating-gas compressor technologies, has announced that it will be exhibiting at the National Propane Gas Association’s (NPGA)2012 Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo. The NPGA Show, held from April 14-15 in Atlanta, GA., USA, is the largest propane event in the world, bringing together thousands of professionals from the propane industry.

Exhibiting in Booth 1109, Blackmer will be featuring a variety of its liquefied gas pumps and oil-free gas compressors that are designed for maximum performance and reliability. Blackmer will be including information on its expanding line of LGL Series pumps. Designed to be either stationary or truck mounted (TLGL), this line of sliding vane pumps is available in configurations that can allow for lower flow rates, and be powered by single-phase motors. Utilizing Blackmer’s unique cavitation suppression liner design, the LGL Series pumps reduce noise, vibration, and wear normally caused by entrained vapors.

Blackmer will also be previewing its new LGL3021 Multi-Purpose LPG Pump and High Differential Pressure Bypass Valve at this year’s NPGA Show. Specifically designed for bulk plant and terminal applications, the LGL3021 is UL-Listed and approved for use on propane, butane and butane/propane mixes. Blackmer’s High Differential Pressure Bypass Valve has been designed to help protect pumps and system components from excessive pressure damage. Suitable for use on Blackmer LGL150 Series pumps, the new valve is ideal for use in pumps featuring differential pressures over 165 PSI (11.5 bar).

In addition, Blackmer will be celebrating 100 years of clean-burning fuel as a sponsor of the NPGA’s Propane Centennial Celebration. In recognition of the centennial, Blackmer will be showing video footage from several LPG installations from many of its leading customers.
