Innovating the Future of Water. This is the theme of AWWA ACE19, taking place this year in Denver, Colorado, June 9th through the 12th. As we come together at this awesome event, to discuss global water challenges and look at water sector innovations, let’s remind ourselves that this is yet another opportunity to learn from one another.

On Tuesday, June 11th, we are honored to host a Q & A session with Steve Hernandez, Water Services Manager for the City of Watsonville, California. Steve has a passion for motivating others and helping them advance in their careers.  As the @WaterWisePro, he empowers all of his 4000+ followers, and keeps his efforts focused on helping the industry he loves. Steve supports Water Operators in their efforts to be Water “Smart” professionals.  He challenges Water Operators with math, problem solving, testing and certification, and offers a community for support, because the truth is Water Operators have demanding jobs. Period. Steve helps educate operators on the skills needed to LEVEL UP and accomplish their career development goals. He challenges these operators to Be on a Mission Every Day!
