AHR Expo Showcases Energy Efficient Heating, Cooling and Air Quality Solutions

With an 85-year history, the International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) has grown into one of the world’s largest HVACR events. What began as a heating and ventilation show, AHR Expo is now host to nearly 2,000 exhibitors and annually draws more than 60,000 industry professionals. The event is co-sponsored by ASHRAE and AHRI and held in conjunction with ASHRAE’s Winter Conference.

This year’s AHR Expo will once again spotlight cutting-edge developments and advancements in the HVACR industry. More than 80 percent of show exhibitors plan to introduce new or upgraded products, systems and technologies that interest contractors, engineers, wholesalers/distributors, facility managers and owners/operators.

  • Armstrong Fluid Technology (Booth 1819) – With expertise in fluid flow, heat transfer, variable speed, and demand-based control, Armstrong Fluid Technology leads the fluid systems industry, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety in providing the most energy efficient and cost effective solutions to building professionals and owners around the globe.   • Danfoss North America (Booth 2404) – Danfoss, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components, controls, compressors and variable frequency drives for air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, industrial, and water systems, recently broke ground on a new state-of-the-art laboratory for the testing of HVACR equipment. The new center also will facilitate training and serve as a research and development center for future innovation. The 22,000-square-foot “Engineering Tomorrow Application Development Center” will be built in Tallahassee, Fla., expanding the existing facility that houses the engineering and manufacturing of Danfoss Turbocor oil-free, magnetic bearing compressors.
