Wilden to Feature Saniflo Hygienic Series Pumps at INTERPHEX 2012

Wilden, the worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump technology, is pleased to announce it will be showcasing its industry-leading Saniflo® Hygienic Series (HS) metal AODD pumps at INTERPHEX 2012 in Booth #2385. INTERPHEX brings together a wide variety of leaders from the pharmaceutical industry and will be held from May 1-3, 2012, in New York, NY, USA.

Wilden Saniflo HS metal pumps have been specifically designed with a variety of features to help pharmaceutical manufacturers maximize their process efficiency, including a number of elastomer options such as Full Stroke PTFE integral piston diaphragms. These diaphragms offer superior product containment and are an excellent choice when pumping highly aggressive fluids within the pharmaceutical processing industry. Saniflo HS metal pumps are also available with specialized air distribution systems, such as the revolutionary Pro-Flo X™ Air-Distribution System (ADS), which offers operational flexibility through its state-of-the-art Efficiency Management System (EMS™). The EMS allows each pump to be finely tuned by adjusting the air volume at the pump inlet with a variable control dial.

In addition, Wilden Saniflo HS metal pumps meet the strict guidelines established for sanitary process applications in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Not only are Saniflo HS metal pumps designed to meet the demands of safety, performance and hygienic requirements, but the Saniflo HS metal pump’s redesigned liquid path reduces internal friction to provide consistent output and ensure the careful transfer of product. Wilden Saniflo HS pumps also feature the standard benefits of self-priming, dry running, dead-head capability and low shear transfer. Additionally, Wilden Saniflo HS metal pumps are consistently meeting and exceeding industry hygienic standards. Saniflo HS metal pumps are FDA and EHEDG certified.

Wilden Saniflo HS Metal pumps are available in four sizes from 25 mm (1”) to 76 mm (3”), and feature flow rates to 918 lpm (243 gpm) and can handle solids to 76 mm (3”). These pumps are offered in 316L stainless steel. A variety of connection options are available such as: DIN clamp, SMS and Tri-Clamp style to meet specific requirements.
