Wilden ® to Feature High-Performance Saniflo™ Hygienic™ Series AODD Pumps at INTERPHEX 2016

Wilden®, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump technology, will be featuring its highly versatile Saniflo Hygienic Series (HS) AODD Pumps in Booth No. 2253 at the upcoming INTERPHEX 2016. The INTERPHEX event brings together a wide variety of leaders from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and will be held this year at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY, USA, from April 26-28.

Wilden Saniflo HS AODD pumps meet strict international regulatory guidelines for hygienic process applications and are available with a full validation package. Saniflo pumps incorporate a straight flow-through design to deliver high operational efficiencies that help ensure hygienic-process success. For highly efficient fluid handling, Saniflo pumps provide self-priming, dry-run and deadhead capabilities. In addition, Saniflo HS pumps delicately handle shear-sensitive products such as cell structures and delicate polymers.

Along with full product containment and no mechanical seals, Wilden Saniflo HS pumps offer the ultimate flexibility and safety when handling fluids. Product contact surfaces are made of pharmaceutical-grade elastomers, as well as 316L stainless steel polished to the needed standards. The pumps also offer efficient, labor saving clean-in-place (CIP) or clean-out-of-place (COP) capabilities. Wilden Saniflo HS pumps currently meet or exceed all EHEDG, 3-A, CE, ATEX, USP Class VI, 1935/2004/EC and FDA CFR 21.177 requirements. These pumps are available in four sizes from 25 mm (1”) to 76 mm (3”), and feature flow rates from 144 lpm to 874 lpm (38 gpm to 231 gpm). A variety of connection options are available such as DIN clamp, SMS and Tri-Clamp® styles to meet specific requirements.

Wilden Saniflo HS AODD pumps are available with the patent-pending Pro-Flo® SHIFT Air Distribution System (ADS) for outstanding energy efficiency or the Pro-Flo X ADS offering high operational flexibility. Diaphragm options include the new Wilden Pure-Fuse diaphragm technology with a one-piece design that eliminates product-trap areas between the outer piston and diaphragm that can harbor bacteria.
