Electric Machinery (WEG Group), S.T. Cotter Turbine Services, and Axis Mechanical Group announce strategic alliance.

Electric Machinery (WEG Group), in conjunction with S.T. Cotter Turbine and Axis Mechanical Group, are pleased to announce a business alliance that will enable a responsive, complete aftermarket service capability for all of your rotating equipment.

Electric Machinery Co., Inc., based in Minneapolis, MN, is a manufacturer and
service provider for large electric motors and generators; and is a member of the
global industrial group WEG.

S.T. Cotter Turbine Services, Inc., based in Clearwater, MN, is a provider of
services, maintenance, and repair of industrial turbines and rotating equipment.

Axis Mechanical Group Inc., based in Houston, TX, is a provider of installation,
maintenance, repair, overhaul, and upgrade of industrial equipment.

All three companies have been serving a wide range of industries and supporting
the most relevant customers in segments such as Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper,
Power-Generation, Oil and Gas, and many others.

This alliance was announced on Sep. 1, 2017 by Richard Fesmire (President of
Electric Machinery Co., Inc.), Shawn Cotter (VP Operations of S.T. Cotter Turbine
Services, Inc.), and John Hanks (President of Axis Mechanical Group, Inc.)

This partnership will allow our companies to better serve our customer base
while offering more comprehensive maintenance and repair services – covering
everything from exciter to substation,” Cotter said.

Each individual company already has a great presence in markets that encompass
everything from power generation plants, oil and gas processing plants, pulp and
paper plants, to all types of heavy industrial sites. By bringing together our vast
experience and strengths, we are ready to safely service any OEM’s rotating
equipment without reserve – in a timely and cost effective manner.
