The Water Tower Announces New Board Members for 2021

The Water Tower, the new water innovation hub in Gwinnett County, Georgia, adds twelve esteemed Board members to continue to build momentum of programming and campus partners in 2021.

The Water Tower, the new water innovation hub comprised of two nonprofit organizations, announces the election of twelve new members to its Board of Directors.

The Water Tower at Gwinnett, a 501(c)4, is focused on the infrastructure of the innovation hub, overseeing the real estate development on campus. The Water Tower Institute, a 501(c)3, oversees programming in the areas of applied research, technology innovation, workforce development, and community engagement.

“We are thrilled to welcome these talented individuals to The Water Tower. Their unique backgrounds and diverse experience, combined with our exiting Board members, will be an incredible asset to The Water Tower and we look forward to working with them to bring TWT to the next level in 2021” said Melissa Meeker, CEO of The Water Tower. The new directors will join founding Board members Nick Masino, President and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett; Dr. Eileen O’Neill, Founding Partner of Water Principles, LLC; and John D. Stephens, owner of JDS Holdings LLC, who have served since October 2019.
