Surgebuster® Check Valves

The Surgebuster® Check Valve is built with advanced technology to withstand the toughest pumping applications that include high head, multiple pumps and surge tanks. The Surgebuster® achieves rapid closure through a short disc stroke of 35° and use of the adjustable Disc Accelerator™. It is achieved by placing the valve seat at a 45° angle while maintaining a full flow area equal to the mating pipe. The patented Disc Accelerator™ is a stainless steel mechanism that closes the valve disc rapidly thus avoiding slamming by flow reversal, while at the same time allowing the disc to be stabilized under flow conditions. Surgebuster® Check Valves are available in sizes 2”-48” for pressure ranges up to 250 PSI. A variety of accessories are available including backflow actuators and disc position indicators.

The Surgebuster® has been independently flow, cycle and proof of performance tested. The valve fully complies with AWWA C508, meets NSF/ANSI for potable water use and is NSF/ANSI 372 Certified Lead-Free by WQA. All Surgebuster® Check Valves are manufactured under a certified ISO 9001 quality system. For more information on the Surgebuster® Check Valve, visit our website at www.valmatic.com.
