Sulzer’s foundry offers state-of-the-art design and manufacturing capabilities to create precision castings weighing up to 1,000 pounds. Using on-site data acquisition tools and a range of molding techniques Sulzer can produce 3D CAD drawings of any component, construct a precision mold and deliver exact replica parts to within 0.001”.

Alongside the capability of pouring alloys with various technologies including conventional no-bake sand, centrifugal molds, the latest multi-axis CNC robot sand mold machine, we now include additive manufacturing with reliable 3D sand printing that provide complete precision molds and cores. Ideal for legacy equipment and machinery that is no longer serviced by the original manufacturer, Sulzer’s precision castings and machining techniques can deliver solutions for a wide range of rotating equipment.
