Sulzer GTC’s President honored with Hydrocarbon Processing Lifetime Achievement award

Pinti Wang, President of Sulzer GTC Technology , has been presented with the 2019 Hydrocarbon Processing (HP) Lifetime Achievement accolade. The award ceremony, which took place earlier this month in Houston, TX, U.S., recognizes and honors the midstream and downstream processing industry’s top innovations and innovators.

The Executive Editor of Hydrocarbon Processing, a leading oil and gas trade journal for the industry, announced Pinti Wang as one of the two winners from among four finalists. The nominations were voted on by an advisory board consisting of operating companies, engineering, procurement and construction contractors (EPCs), licensors, consultants and equipment/service companies.

Mr. Wang has been serving the oil and gas sector with leading chemical and process engineering solutions for 40 years. He founded GTC Technology in 2002, where he acted as CEO and Chairman. Under his leadership, the company became a global licensor of process technologies and mass transfer solutions for the oil refining and petrochemical industry. Now that GTC Technology has been acquired by Sulzer, Mr. Wang continues to play a vital role as President of Sulzer GTC.

Mr. Wang said: “I am honored to have been nominated and selected for the 2019 HP Lifetime Achievement award. I feel that this prize recognizes the collective work done by all the highly skilled and talented teams I have led and continue to work with at Sulzer GTC Technology.”
