CheckPoint Pumps & Systems enters its 20th year of business with the imminent launch of several pioneering products. The Diaphragm Pump (official name to be released January 2014) and the Direct Flow Controller are in the final stages of beta testing. Also in the works is a solution specifically designed for the North American Shale Plays. The details of this product are still under wraps, but there is a way of getting a sneak preview… more on that shortly.
CheckPoint’s fully redundant leak-proof Diaphragm Pump comes with rupture detection and can reliably pump at pressures up to 7,500 PSIG (517 BARG). Boasting a modular design, the stackable Diaphragm Pump provides flexible sizing options via multiple plunger and drive sizes; the design is also particulate tolerant. Its light weight and small footprint make this solution ideal for onshore, as well as offshore chemical injection systems.
The Direct Flow Controller is CheckPoint’s patent-pending hydro-mechanical solution that leverages the normal function of a discharge check valve to achieve variable stroke volume dynamically, and with precision. This is an ideal replacement for mechanical stroke length adjustments, and expensive, non-zone-rated VFDs.
These innovative chemical injection solutions and the clandestine Shale product are available for viewing at various tradeshows. Having concluded the DUG Eagle Ford show in San Antonio, CheckPoint’s tradeshow circuit continues with the Oklahoma Oil & Gas Expo (Booths 421-423) October 3rd, followed by LAGCOE (Booth A-191) in Lafayette, Louisiana October 22nd-24th.
