Global Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals Launches New Member Benefit: SMRP Exchange

The Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) today launched its newest member benefit, SMRP Exchange, a private online community exclusively for members to connect, learn and share their expertise with others across the maintenance, reliability and physical asset management profession.

The Exchange adds to the growing list of benefits SMRP is proud to offer members. This includes the SMRP Library and Body of Knowledge (BoK), Solutions magazine, Approved Provider Education Program (APEP), scholarship opportunities, local chapters, Shared Interest Groups, an active and effective Government Relations program, professional development webinars, Annual Conference and upcoming symposia in Peru and Phoenix – to name a few.

“As membership continues to grow globally, SMRP is dedicated to fostering connectivity through networking opportunities,” said SMRP Chair Howard Penrose, Ph.D., CMRP. “In the same way SMRP events like the Annual Conference, Symposium and chapter meetings bring members together to share information, the Exchange will allow our members to continue to build and engage in information networks all year long – from wherever, whenever.”

The Exchange is a private and secure site where members can participate in thought leadership and forum discussion groups, share best practices, ask questions and communicate with fellow members in real-time. It also serves as a resource center where members can share documents, links and other digital files along with up-to-date information on all SMRP announcements and upcoming events.
