Slurry Valves Provide Long Life and Lower Cost of Ownership

ITT Corporation offers the most complete line of mining knife gate products available globally. ITT’s latest innovations in mining products are the Fabri-Valve® 33 PTA and the Fabri-Valve® 33 PTD push-through slurry valves.

Fabri-Valve® 33 PTA

Specifically designed to withstand harsh slurry applications in the mining industry, the 33 PTA push-through slurry valve incorporates proprietary sleeve technology and a wide body design that together maximize valve life.

The new valve’s elastomeric seats have been engineered to provide the highest degree of abrasion resistance and chemical compatibility. The seats form a pressure boundary, allowing for maintenance of gate and actuation while under pressure, to minimize downtime.

The push-through seat design is self-cleaning and has low discharge. When dealing with discharge valves, ITT takes into consideration operator safety as the number one priority. ITT has developed specific guidelines to help raise safety awareness and help customers choose the right valve for their applications.

The 33 PTA is available in sizes ranging from 3-inch through 24-inch diameters (DN80–DN600) and are rated to operate at 100 psi (10.3 bar). It is competitively priced and available from authorized ITT Fabri-Valve distributors.

Fabri-Valve® 33 PTD

Designed with proprietary technology to meet the harsh demands of light to medium slurry applications, the 33 PTD push-through slurry valve has outperformed other slurry valves used in the industry in both field trials and the laboratory. It is most suitable for copper, gold, silver, or phosphate.

The 33 PTD incorporates a proprietary UHMW Gate Support Liner, which provides smooth gate operation and alignment while eliminating body wear. The elastomeric seats have been engineered to provide the highest degree of abrasion resistance and chemical compatibility.  The valve seats form a pressure boundary allowing for maintenance of gate and actuation while under pressure, which minimizes downtime.

Unlike other slurry valves in the industry, the 33 PTD is designed with dead-end service capability. The push-through seat design is self cleaning and has low discharge.

The 33 PTD is available in sizes ranging from 3″ through 24″ diameters (DN80 – DN600). Sizes 3-16″ (DN 80-400) operate at 150 psi (10.3 bar) and up to 180°F (82°C). Sizes 18-24″ (DN 450-600) operate at 90 psi (6.2 bar) of working pressure and up to 180°F (82°C). It is competitively priced and available from authorized ITT Fabri-Valve distributors.
